We were happy to host Dr. Myria Georgiou (LSE) last March in Helsinki. She held an open lecture titled “Is London Open? Mediating and ordering cosmopolitanism in crisis” on the LondonIsOpen campaign. Did the campaign speak to a truly diverse group in post-Brexit London or was the campaign aimed to enhance a desired cosmopolitan city brand, open to new business but restricted from individuals that fall out of the neoliberal cosmopolitan picture of diversity?
If you missed the lecture, you can see it here (1 hour). Also, stay tuned for a more curated and shorter interview video with Myria, coming soon!
