Visible Invisibility grand opening on Tue 16th Oct., 2018

Visible Invisibility exhibition happily opened at Helsinki Art Museum! We invite you all to visit the exhibition until 13th November at HAM Corner (1st floor of Tennispalatsi). We have organised discussions and workshops so you may meet the makers behind the exhibition and take part yourselves:

20th October: Sticker art workshop with sticker artist Dima Pencil (St. Petersburg). Making stickers and learning about the urban subculture! Language: Finnish & Russian. Time: 2–6pm.

23rd October & 13th November: Meet a researcher. Youth researchers Heta Mulari & Arseniy Svynarenko move their office for a day to HAM Corner. Come discuss! Languages: Finnish, English, Russian. Time: 11am–7pm.

1st November: Discussion about encounters between art and research. What does it mean to combine the two and why do funders want to see more research-art collaborations? Panelists: Kalle Korhonen (research director, Kone Foundation), Taina Riikonen (sound artist & researcher), Heta Mulari (researcher, Digital Youth in Media City). Moderator: Leena Suurpää. Language: Finnish. Time: 4.30–5.30pm.
